Veterans Foundation of America and Feeding Our Heroes to Host Veterans Health Fair & Luncheon Sponsored by Braven Health

Newark, NJ — May 30, 2025 — The Veterans Foundation of America and Feeding Our Heroes are proud to present a Veterans Health Fair & Luncheon, generously sponsored by Braven Health, on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center in Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ.

This special community event is dedicated to honoring those who have served by providing veterans and their families with access to essential health services, wellness resources, and a complimentary luncheon.

As part of our ongoing mission to support the health and well-being of our nation’s heroes, attendees will receive free health screenings and assessments, including:

• Cardiovascular Screenings
• Asthma Screenings
• Colorectal Cancer Test Kits
• PSA – Prostate Cancer Screenings
• Sleep Assessments
• Mental Health Checks
• Nutrition Education
• Diabetes & Stroke Assessments
• A1C Testing
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Mobile Mammography
• HIV Testing
• Brain Games
• Veterans Resources and Support      Services

"At the Veterans Foundation of America, we believe that honoring veterans starts with action—and health is a critical part of that equation,” said Colonel (Ret) Jeff Cantor from the Veterans Foundation of America. “This event is not only about healthcare access but about community, gratitude, and proactive wellness.”

The event will also include a free luncheon courtesy of Feeding Our Heroes, allowing veterans and attendees to come together in a spirit of unity and appreciation.
